BROOKLYN GOES ONE BETTER

BROOKLYN will unleash her new single, Better Before, on April 19 along with a music video clip showcasing some killer dance moves.

Better Before is a house tune with a captivating beat, playful rhythm and beautiful vocals by Melbourne singer Rachel Costanzo.

The music clip was filmed in an industrial dance studio featuring Gold Coast Dancers, Jaimie Burrows and Taylah Ramsay who also created the original choreography.

Brooklyn said the concept for the Better Before music video clip was inspired from her childhood growing up dancing on the stage and in the studio from age seven.

“I also had an obsession with music videos, I’d wake up early on the weekends just to record Rage; I knew one day I wanted to create my own music and music video clips.”

Brooklyn and her dancers were dressed head to toe in outfits by Gold Coast brand Saski collection which is owned by one of Australia’s biggest Instagram influencer Tammy Hembrow.

“We had an entire team that worked together to produce some absolutely stunning visuals that bring the track to life,” said Brooklyn.

The Gold Coast DJ and Producer said she wanted to create a track that could seamlessly play across the radio, in a nightclub and on the stages of big festivals.

“I wanted to produce a track that people felt an impulse to dance to and sing along with in the car as soon as it came on,” said Brooklyn.

“Once I had the basic instrument done, I sent it off to Rachel to see if she was vibing it and within three days she had written and recorded the vocals, and just absolutely nailed it.”

“I got so excited about this project and knew I wanted to get it out to the public as soon as I could.”

Melbourne singer Rachel Costanzo said when she first received the track from Brooklyn she was eager to hear what she had produced and immediately loved the energetic feel.

“I wanted to complement the dance track with some fun lyrics but also make sure they had a lot of meaning,” said Rachel.

“An idea came to my mind that sometimes it just sucks when people close to you change and they were simply ‘Better Before’.”

Brooklyn said Better Before was the perfect song to follow her debut single, Foolish, as it doesn’t stem too far away from the trendy vibe and memorable melody of the 2018 summer anthem which now has over 300,000 streams on Spoitfy to date.

Brooklyn is already working on her next two singles and said 2019 is about putting out more music and pushing boundaries.

“I am still experimenting with different sounds and would love to even try my own vocals on a track.”

Brooklyn kicks off her Better Before tour this month which is geared up to deliver a fierce show incorporating her dancers at selected venues.

Venues and entertainment bookers can contact her agent Luke via spags@luckyent.com to make a booking.

Better Before can be purchased on April 19 through iTunes or can be streamed via Spotify.
